Stock Donations
A gift of appreciated stock is one way to support St. David’s
and also receive tax benefits. Donating appreciated stock to St. David’s allows
you to claim a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock
that you donate. St. David’s has brokerage accounts set up to make giving easy
and convenient. The Development Department staff is pleased to work with donors
and their financial advisers to discuss gifts of stock and to assist with stock
transfers.
When making a gift of appreciated stock through Stifel Nicolaus & Co., please be sure to notify
St. David's. We want to ensure proper recognition of your gift.
