Our Approach
 At the heart of St. David’s approach to early
childhood education is the belief that the preschool years provide a
significant opportunity for educating and guiding young children in
all areas of their development.
St. David’s “whole child” approach recognizes that
children learn best in a setting where they can explore, exercise
their curiosity and imagination, and develop social relationships
through play within a safe, nurturing, and secure environment. A
fundamental key to this approach is embracing developmentally
appropriate practices and recognizing the importance of fostering
the children’s emotional intelligence.
At St. David’s, each child is
viewed as an individual, who at different points in time, displays a
readiness for growth in specific areas. By providing experiences
that build competence and confidence, the staff at St. David’s help
lay the foundation for future growth and learning.
Our Early Childhood Program is offered in Minnetonka and Crystal.
