Destination...Anywhere!
What is Destination...Anywhere?
Destination...Anywhere is an innovative 24 hour respite opportunity
for people with developmental disabilities that meets once a month from
noon Saturday to noon on Sunday.
Destination...Anywhere provides an
opportunity for people to head out on the town and participate in an
activity, try out different area restaurants, stay overnight in a
hotel, have breakfast, and take a swim or just hang out at the hotel
with their peers.
The goal of Destination…Anywhere!
is to promote community integration, facilitate opportunities for
socialization and friendship building, provide respite for families
and of course…to have a fabulous time!
Participants must
be at least 16 years old and be able to demonstrate independent living
skills.
