Autism Support Services
Program
Description
As a parent, you want to give your child every opportunity to succeed, but
determining the best treatments and coordinating services for a child with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can be a daunting task. We can help.
Through a partnership with United Behavioral Health, St. David’s Autism Spectrum
Disorder Support Services provides care management for families living with ASD
who are insured through Medica. Our staff evaluates the therapeutic needs of
your child, develops a care plan, and works with you to coordinate services.
Depending on the level of need, we will also provide direct intervention
therapies and skills development.
TIERS OF SERVICE
ASD Support Services are offered in four different tiers. Together, we will
determine which tier is appropriate for your family.*
Tier #1
1. Care Management—10 hours/month
Tier #2
1. Care Management—6 hours/month
2. Skills Development—4 hours/month
3. Therapeutic Interventions—4 sessions/month
4. Consultations with Parents—2 sessions/month
Tier #3
1. Care Management—6 hours/month
2. Skills Development—17 hours/month
3. Therapeutic Interventions—4 sessions/ month
4. Consultations with Parents—2 sessions/ month
Tier #4
1. Care Management—12 hours/month
2. Skills Development—40 hours/month
3. Therapeutic Interventions—4 sessions/ month
4. Consultations with Parents—2 sessions/ month

Please talk to your Medica provider to find out if your family qualifies for
services or call St. David’s therapy intake office at (952) 548-8682.
St. David’s also has contracts with Medica and other insurance providers for
speech-language pathology, autism day treatment, physical therapy,
occupational therapy and mental health therapy services. Read more about
