Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy enables performance in activities and social participation through occupation. Typical occupations for children include engagement in play, learning, interacting with others, and self care. Occupational therapists work with children to facilitate development of fine motor, neuromotor, visual motor, and sensory motor skills to assist them in their occupations. At St. David's, we work with the child, family, and environment to improve, create, and/or restore a child's ability to engage in activities that are meaningful to him or her.
